Farm Field Trips
We have exciting new changes for field trips in 2020!
- The Farm Tour will now feature a Crop Stop Hayride – a longer ride with stops along the way to learn about our crops and the products that come from them, along with a stop at the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin!
- The Farm Tour will also include access to 50+ farm activities to enjoy at your leisure!

Field trips offered Tuesdays through Fridays in September & October

- A minimum of 15 students is required to schedule a field trip.
- General Admission tickets and season passes are not valid for field trips.
- We do not accept personal checks for field trips.
- Handicapped accessible hayride wagons are available, just let us know.
- Picnic facilities are available for packed lunches.
- Students may bring money to purchase things in our Country Store

Hi Folks,
Jim is back and we have a few tasty things available so we will be open on weekends only for December. Our granddaughter has a chicken project and we have some eggs available. They have kitchen scraps and alfalfa in their diet making for some nice deep yellow yolks. There are 8 jars of Jeremy’s traditional sauerkraut that is shelf stable, a few cabbages, bags of kohlrabi and Amarosa potatoes. Everything is in the grey refrigerator.

Hi Folks,
This week in the farm stand we have cabbage, kohlrabi, bunching onions, leeks, onions, peppers, tomatoes, 3 varieties of potatoes, Red Curry squash, butternut squash and sweet pumpkin, the last 2 bags of garlic and a few dz eggs from our granddaughter. Fresh sauerkraut is in the frig and the shelf stable sauerkraut is on the table. Come on by.

Sweet pumpkins, Red curry squash

Hi Folks,
After that frigid weekend we have everything in from the fields and inventoried. We’ve put out some sweet pumpkins for pies and soups, RedCurry squash that is a deep orange inside and out, in addition to the butternut squash. There’s plenty of potatoes, tomatoes and some of the last bags of garlic. In the frig are cabbages, onions, leeks, bunching onions, kohlrabi, peppers, the last of the raspberries and raw sauerkraut.

Hi Folks,
We have broccoli, cabbage, kohlrabi, leeks, bunching onions, onions, peppers and raspberries in the frig. On the table is garlic, potatoes, tomatoes and winter squash. Both raw and processed sauerkraut are available in traditional style and with caraway. Come on by.

Hi Folks,
We had a few things we had to do this week and the stand had slim pickings for a few days. I’ve just finished filling it with broccoli,cabbage, onions, 3 varieties of peppers including a new paprika thick walled variety. By this afternoon we will add leeks to the mix also. On the table is garlic, tomatoes, butternut squash and of course potatoes. Come on by.

Hi Folks,
This is the last week for corn, so we will resume being closed on Mondays. Along with corn we have cabbage(green and savoy),kohlrabi, cucumbers, Swiss chard, peppers(both sweet bells and Anaheim’s), fresh raw sauerkraut, Raspberries, butternut squash, tomatoes, garlic, onions and 4 varieties of potatoes. Come on by.
