Narana Sinai Coissoró, (born 3 October 1933), is a Portugueselawyer, professor and retired politician of the right-wing CDS – People's Party (Portuguese: Centro Democrático e Social/Partido Popular - CDS/PP).

Political activity[edit]

Narana Coissoró is a former Deputy to the Assembly of the Republic. He was leader of his party parliamentary group between 1978 and 1991.

Other activities[edit]

Coissoró is President of the Center for Oriental Studies of the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP - Higher Institute of Political and Social Sciences), of the Technical University of Lisbon.[1][2] He also heads the Goan Community Centre in Portugal.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Narana Coissoró is married to Teresa da Costa Brandão, born at Caldas da Rainha, by whom he has a daughter, Smitá da Costa Brandão Coissoró.

He has a degree in law by the University of Coimbra and a doctorate from SOAS, University of London.

Marana is a town in Pima County, Arizona, located northwest of Tucson, with a small portion in Pinal County. According to the 2010 census, the population of the town is 34,961. Marana was the fourth fastest-growing place among all cities and towns in Arizona of any size from 1990 to 2000.
Marana is located at 32°23′12″N 111°7′32″W / 32.38667°N 111.12556°W / 32.38667; -111.12556 (32.386539, -111.125437).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 120 square miles (190.5 km²), of which, 119.1 square miles (188.2 km²) of it is land and 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²) of it (1.22%) is water.
